Wormfood is BJ Rigney. BJ currently resides in San Francisco California with his beautiful wife Mel and daughter Logan and has been making music and twiddling knobs for 17 years. It all started with guitars and METAL. He played drums for several years in local punk and metal bands (The Aborted, Room 237, Insidious, Singiah). At some point back then, he started hearing electronic music and fell in love with trance and techno.

BJ wanted to merge the heavy elements of metal with the synthetic sounds of techno and trance. Wormfood was born. BJ has released several tracks as Wormfood over the years with labels like, Horns and Hoofs, Tempest Recordings, USTA, and Spectral Concepts. Today BJ still tries to make time to play drums and guitar, but his real focus is making music in the studio.

At the moment BJ has a few projects in the works. These project include: Realthings and Don't let the tweekers see.
He also started a netlabel with Jeremiah called IfElseThen
